HTML5: Designing Websites with HTML5, Online

2010 - 2011

HTML 5 is the first major release of the HTML Web Standard in over 10 years. The most fundamental changes come with the core TAG based language of HTML itself. In this class, we were introduced to the new HTML 5 tags, how to properly use them, and what to be aware of as you design your new Web sites. It didn't stop there though, as CSS3, JavaScript, and the advanced use of the canvas tag will also be incorporated. We learned the new image controls HTML 5 provides including the new Bit map image formats through interactive vector based image control in both 2D and 3D.

Dreamweaver CS5 Level 2: Adv Website Development and CSS, Online

2010 - 2011

This course was designed for those developers and designers who wish to take the next step in terms of making the most of Dreamweaver CS5. In this class, we explored some of Dreamweaver's more sophisticated functions, building on a solid base (established in the Level 1 class or in experience) in CSS, HTML, and other coding and organizational functions.

Photoshop CS5 Level 2: Advanced, Online

2010 - 2011

This workshop covered the advanced features of Photoshop. We learned to use Levels & Curves to correct color & tonal range, create Layer Masks & Vector Masks, use the History Brush, create Actions & Batch Process files, work with Alpha Channels, properly use Device Central, use Auto Align to create panoramas, and more!

Photoshop CS5 Level 1: Fundamentals to Intermediate, Online

2010 - 2011

This class was for all levels of Photoshop users. Seasoned users take this class to fill in "holes" or rid themselves of bad habits in their Photoshop usage. All students learned about Photoshop Layers, Smart Objects, Text, Gradients, Adjustment Layers and more. Upon leaving this class, all students were able to create Photoshop images from scratch, and properly manipulate existing images.

MS:6419A: Configuring, Managing, & Maintaining Windows Server 2008 Servers

2010 - 2011

A five-day instructor-led course providing students with the knowledge and skills that are required to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and R2 environment. This course covered the core skills required by anyone working with Windows Server 2008 Servers.

MS:6436A: Designing a Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Infrastructure and Services

2010 - 2011

At the end of this five-day course, we learned how to design an Active Directory Infrastructure in Windows Server 2008, how to design Active Directory forests, domain infrastructure, sites and replication, administrative structures, group policies, and Public Key Infrastructures. We also learned how to design for security, high availability, disaster recovery, and migrations.

MS:10135A Configuring, Managing, Troubleshooting MS Exchange Server 2010

2010 - 2011

A five-day, instructor-led course that provided me with the knowledge and skills to configure and manage an Exchange Server 2010 messaging environment. The course did not require previous Exchange Server experience, but did require significant experience in managing Windows Server and Active Directory directory services or Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). The course taught how to configure Exchange Server 2010, as well as provided guidelines, best practices, and considerations that helps optimize Exchange Server deployment.

2003 - 2004

Defined, managed, maintained, and improved processes within Dell's Dispatch Management Center (DMC) and Support Infrastructure. Acted as the lead communicator on processes between various projects and groups, and their functional areas. Traveled throughout Dell to educate and be educated about Dell support infrastructure. All About Me:

Born and raised in Morgan City, Louisiana, USA, But I have happily called Lafayette, Louisiana my home for the past year.

I enjoy working with both the technological elements of design like building and designing interactive websites, as well as Graphic Imaging and enjoy working with one of the best tools ever created... "Adobe Photoshop".

I'm self taught in most of programming languages I use, such as Visual Basic, PhP, JavaScript, and of course good old HTML. I'm also, well versed in many Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher.

I use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Fireworks as my Graphic and Flash media tools.

A few things I can't live without are the Internet, my love for computers, country music, Cajun food, and of course my family! When my head is not stuck in a computer screen I can be found shopping (Usually for products having to do with technology), camping, walking the streets of Lafayette and watching great movies.
